Hello and Happy Monday TC readers! Super lax update this week! Not a lot of releases this week both for trailers or retail. Two exciting big movies opening tomorrow though just in time for the Fourth of July weekend! Don’t forget to check out my review on World War Z here if you haven’t done so already! All right, let’s go ahead and jump right to it!
In Case You Missed It:
A second trailer for the movie Prisoners was released last week and you can check it out here! This new trailer has additional footage as well as more plot details. When a man’s daughter turns up missing he will stop at nothing to get the answers that will lead him to the location of his daughter. Prisoners stars Terrence Howard, Jake Gyllenhaal, and Hugh Jackman. The movie is expected to hit theaters on September 20th, 2013!
A teaser trailer for Ridley Scott’s (Gladiator, Prometheus) latest film as well as Cormac McCarthy’s (The Road, No Country for Old Men) first original screenplay, The Counselor, hit the web last week and you can check it out here! “A lawyer finds himself in over his head when he gets involved in drug trafficking.” (Via Imdb) The Counselor stars Michael Fassbender, Cameron Diaz, Penelope Cruz, Javier Bardem, and Brad Pitt! The movie is expected to hit theaters on October 25th, 2013!
Normally don’t plug Netflix TV shows unless it’s a review but due to the lack of trailers and movies coming to retail this week I thought I’d pad out this week’s update with some extra news! New Girl has finally made its way to Netflix streaming and you can check it out here! The show is incredibly funny and has quickly become one of my favorite shows!
That does it for a glimpse of last week’s trailers. Which one is your favorite? Leave a comment below and let us know! Let’s go ahead and move on into home releases.
