Movie Monday Update Week of September 30th


Hello and Happy Monday TC readers! First I want to apologize for the rather inconsistent review schedule as of late and I want to thank those who have continued to follow along! Anyway we got some great choices on the retail front as well as two big choices on the big screen, but first check out these big movie trailers!

In Case You Missed It:

Frozen wide

A trailer for the new Disney Animated film Frozen hit the web last week and you can check it out here! Fearless optimist Anna teams up with Kristoff in an epic journey, encountering Everest-like conditions, and a hilarious snowman named Olaf in a race to find Anna’s sister Elsa, whose icy powers have trapped the kingdom in eternal winter. – IMDB Frozen stars Jonathan Groff, Josh Gad, and Kristin Bell! The film is expected to hit theaters on November 27th, 2013!

Need-For-Speed-2014-Movie-B

A trailer for the movie Need for Speed hit the web last week and you can check it out here! Fresh from prison, a street racer who was framed by a wealthy business associate joins a cross-country race with revenge in mind. His ex-partner, learning of the plan, places a massive bounty on his head as the race begins. – IMDB Need for Speed stars Dominic Cooper, Michael Keaton, and Aaron Paul. The movie is expected to hit theaters on March 14th, 2014!

A teaser trailer for The Avengers Age of Ultron hit the web last week and you can check it out here! It’s still very early for any plot details but Avengers Age of Ultron will star Scarlett Johansson, Chris Hemsworth, Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, and Robert Downey Jr. The movie is expected to hit theaters on May 1st, 2015!

Movie Monday Update Week of March 11th


Hello and Happy Monday TC readers! Can you feel it? The summer blockbuster season is quickly approaching and with it comes exciting movie trailers! A ton of movies are set to release to retail this week with a rather lax release schedule at the theaters. In case you missed it:


The gang is back! A teaser trailer for The Hangover Part III hit the Internet last week with the trio back in action. The movie stars, Ed Helms, Zach Galifianakis, Bradley Cooper, and John Goodman and is set to release on May 24th, 2013!


A second official trailer for Star Trek Into Darkness hit the Internet last week that shows new footage as well as some additional plot details. Star Trek Into Darkness stars, Zoe Saldana, Zachary Quinto, Benedict Cumberbatch, and Chris Pine and is set to hit theaters on May 17, 2013!


A new trailer for DreamWorks’ The Croods hit the web last week with new footage and additional plot details. The Croods features the voice talents of, Ryan Reynolds, Emma Stone, and Nicolas Cage and is set to hit theaters on March 22nd, 2013!


After Earth also received another exciting trailer with additional footage and more detailed plot points. After Earth stars, Will Smith and his son Jaden Smith and is set to hit theaters on June 7th, 2013!


Finally, Iron Man 3 released its second official trailer last week and it is action packed. Iron Man 3 stars Gwyneth Paltrow, Don Cheadle, Ben Kingsly, and Robert Downey Jr. and is set to hit theaters on May 3rd, 2013!

Movie Monday Update #2


Good evening and happy Monday TC readers! We’ve got a lot coming out this week! As always be sure to check out last week’s review on Taken 2 if you haven’t already done so.

Just as a quick refresher today’s post is a new segment of posts called, Movie Monday Update, where I’ll be posting what’s coming out this week as well as any other Thinking Cinematic and Movie related news. This will be a regular series so keep checking back every Monday at 7 pm central time!
